Our Story

Many things are said of Ray and Tye Noorda. While Ray is best known as the "Father of Network Computing" and as the late CEO of Novell Technology, those who knew Ray and Tye personally recall their inexorably generous hearts and unassuming dispositions. During their lives, they quietly made many generous donations to organizations focused on positive social impact, without desires for recognition or fanfare. They simply wanted to provide opportunities and needed relief in their community.

In passing, Ray and Tye left their remaining wealth to the Ray and Tye Noorda Foundation's Charitable Trust (RTNF). Now, with its founders in mind, RTNF's board and staff honors their memory by continuing to partner with organizations and leaders who are profoundly and positively impacting lives.
