In December 2020, the Ray and Tye Noorda Foundation added a second full-time staff member, Erin Blackford. We are excited to have her and grow our team! Erin is taking the lead on RTNF’s Utah partnerships. Not only does an additional Portfolio Associate expand the foundation’s capacity to support our partners, but as a current Utah dweller, she will be able to attend more site visits and have in-person meetings with our Utah partners (when health and safety permits in-person meetings again). Erin will also work alongside Brittany to assist with strategy, operations and grantmaking.
About Erin
Erin is originally from Seattle, Washington, but has lived in Utah for about 7 years. She graduated with a B.S. in Sociology and a B.A. in Spanish from Brigham Young University. During her undergraduate, she discovered her passion for philanthropic work while performing program evaluations and interning with nonprofit organizations both locally and internationally. While working at the Community Foundation of Utah, Erin developed monitoring and evaluation plans and deepened her connection with community partners in Utah. Erin loves using her passion for doing good in her day-to-day work and looks forward to learning and growing with RTNF. Off the clock, Erin loves to hike with her Irish Goldendoodle, attend plays, and challenge her husband to tennis matches.
